- All of the dues except for operating expenses will flow back to the states where the power is located. We will have no big salaries or big budget expenses. We will do everything possible electronically.
- We will have few if any meetings, and no seminars or conferences. We want you to spend your money at home with your legislators, not on travel expenses.
- We will be responsive to members and their state associations. We will encourage state association membership by offering a $100 discount with proof of membership.
- We have a local mentality and we know politics are local. We know that legislators can be influenced more effectively at home, not in Washington.
- We will work with other industry advocates and supporters to strengthen the message to Congress, but we will focus the message at the district level.
- We know that education is important, but educating providers is the job of the state associations. We will not compete with them for seminar dollars, but instead will help sponsor their programs.

- NAIMES voting membership is limited to independent privately-held providers with an NPI number. State DME associations will be offered complimentary membership. Non-voting membership is available to any company or individual with a vested interest in the industry.
